Vladimir Putin’s big covert Russian operation has been discovered by U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies.
Investigators reported that Russian operations in United States are conducted to generate public distrust in the upcoming presidential elections.

The campaign would include cyber-tools to hack systems used in the political process, further developing Russia’s ability to distribute disinformation.

Recently, Russian president Vladimir Putin stated that the hacking of Democratic Partygroups was nothing but public service. In response, Hillary Clinton replied, saying that Putin was endorsing “foreign interference” into U.S. presidential elections.
Jesse Lehrich, Clinton’s spokesman, said that experts stated that Russia was behind the massive hack of Democratic National Committee e-mails, which were released byWikiLeaks. The release took place just before the former First Lady was to officially accept the party’s nomination.
Lehrich tried to make a connection to Republican nominee Donald Trump’s campaign, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
“Unsurprisingly, Putin has joined Trump in cheering foreign interference in the US election that is clearly designed to inflict political damage on Hillary Clinton and Democrats,” Lehrich said.
“This is a national security issue and every American deserves answers about potential collusion between Trump campaign associates and the Kremlin.”
James R. Clapper Jr., director of national intelligence, is the person conducting the investigation into the Russian covert operations.
A senior intelligence official stated that Vladimir Putin’s covert operation in the United States was something they are looking at very seriously. Investigation is being conducted by officials to discover potential disruptions to the election process. The FBI had already alarmed state and local officials of potential cyberthreats.
